Claire Schelfhout
Biography
Claire Schelfhout obtained a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from KU Leuven and earned a Master of Science in Urban and Spatial Planning from the University of Antwerp. During her master's studies, she participated in an exchange program in Paris, where she conducted research for her thesis, focusing on the city's new bicycle policy plan, specifically on bicycle parking.
Currently, Claire is a doctoral student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Heleen Buldeo Rai and Prof. Dr. Koen Mommens. Her research focuses on emission-free urban distribution, with a particular emphasis on the impact of logistics urban real estate. In addition to her research, she is also a teaching assistant and supports courses in supply chain management and operations management.
