This study aims to develop and analyse the co-creation of a prototype of 'miniblocks' around school streets in three Austrian cities. The objective is twofold: first, to analyse technical an socio-psychological conditions, processes and outcomes for/of co-creation; and, second, to analyse conditions under which the effects of co-creation can be sustained.
The project is a collaboration with University of Salzburg, International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), and Breda University of Applied Science. VUB-Mobilise will contribute to the project by bringing in its know-how on co-creation methods especially with children, survey methods that can be used in the school environment and its tools for the co-evaluation of co-designed options.
