Juliana Betancur Arenas

Juliana Betancur Arenas is a graduate from the Master's in Urban Studies from the VUB and the ULB and holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from EAFIT University in Medellin, Colombia. At Mobilise she will be contributing to the Cairgo Bike project under the supervision of Prof. dr. Philippe Lebeau and Prof. dr. Cathy Macharis. Juliana has working experience in the design and construction of active mobility infrastructure in Colombia and France and served as a volunteer in non-profit associations promoting cycling and the use of public transport. Her research focuses on the motivators and barriers to increase and improve urban cycling mobility and logistics.
