The project focuses on the design of a hybrid mobility system through the integration of demand-responsive transit (DRT) and public transport. The project takes the perspective of an urban mobility department that wants to facilitate the development of a coherent, cost-efficient and high-quality system. Operational optimization algorithms for hybrid mobility systems will be developed and integrated into the design of optimization approach.
It's a joint project of VUB-Mobilise and the University of Hasselt.
