Rosa Esi Ennison
Biography
Rosa Esi Ennison is a PhD researcher working with VUB’s Mobilise Research Group on the YouthMove15 project under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Imre Keseru and Dr. Samyajit Basu.
Her research centers around understanding and bridging the desire-opportunity gap in children’s independent mobility in Brussels. Using participatory and gamified research methods, she explores children’s perspectives on their current mobility experiences and their aspirations for increased ownership of their mobility practices in urban spaces.
Rosa holds an MA in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva, Switzerland) and a Bachelor of Arts from Beloit College (Wisconsin, USA). Through her previous professional roles, she has gained experience in research, multistakeholder engagement, and community-building.
