Looper project - Model - Data collection

The data collection stage helps participants in collecting data about the criticalities they found during the scoping activity. Organisers of the Looper Living Lab here help in choosing the right tools to collect qualitative and/or quantitative data in participatory way, and give the right knowledge to participants on how to use such tools. The data collection activity helps in levelling the usual distrust of local stakeholders towards data collected by official bodies.

Different data are collected depending on the issues tackled by the Looper Living Lab. Organisers need to propose the tools for the data collection based not only on the type of issue, but also based on the different stakeholders participating (e.g. educational level, digital capability).
