Remobilise - News

In June, the Remobilised project organised its ‘Policy for 2050’ workshop. During this workshop, stakeholders reflected on how different policy packages would materialise in the city, in the context of different possible scenarios. For this purpose, creative exercises were used to stimulate future and outside-the-box thinking. In the last phase of the project, the impact of these different policy packages on different stakeholder groups will be evaluated. Stay tuned for the final results!

Remobilise has reached an important milestone! The development of explorative scenarios for the future urban mobility in Brussels has come to an end. As such, you can now explore four distinctive narratives, each of them accompanied by a key visual produced by a key visual harvester during our participatory workshops held in December 2022. During the month of December, Remobilise organised three participatory workshops with stakeholders to develop the future(s) of mobility in Brussels by 2050. The goal was to develop descriptions of the city of Brussels by 2050, and then to reflect on the impacts of these futures by 2050. Lots of creative ideas flowed with the stakeholders involved! The results will be four scenarios showing the alternative possible futures. This is a sneak peak of what was said in the workshops…. Stay tuned for the final results!

Do you like to think about urban mobility? Then come and talk to us about it! As part of the Remobilise project, we are organising a series of workshops on 7, 8 and 15 December (9.30am-12pm) to examine how Brussels and its inhabitants would respond to different circumstances that the future might bring. You will make a meaningful contribution to future-proofing Brussels mobility and will also have the opportunity to get in touch with different stakeholders - not only during the workshop, but also during the free lunch that will follow!
